Steve Dawson - Managing Director

Having spent over 20 years working in the entertainment, radio and broadcasting industry, Steve was drawn to the I.T. business in 1996 founding Swift Solutions. The core business in the early days was as a provider of I.T. services and support to small and growing businesses in and around the West Midlands as they struggled with the inclusion of new technology in many areas of their day to day functions.   Read More....

Amanda - Office Manager

Amanda has an extensive background in sales stretching back many years with a multitude of products and services. Her experience when dealing with the clients is hugely valuable to us as a company and her ability to negotiate a great deal for us all is why she tells us she is worth so much money. Conversley, we pay her so little money because we are such fun to work with and she likes us. 

John - Merchant & Commission Interface Manager

If you are ever stuck for a joke then John's your man. Steve absoultely refuses to employ boring people so part of the remit for any job on the frontline at Ei42 is that everyone has to be able to take a joke. That's a good job because John has a razor sharp tongue and wit to match. Oh... he's also very good and making sure the stuff you see on your Ei42 shops converts to money in your account.

Shelley - Researcher

Shelley is a great member of the team, brilliant at her job, and a perfect role model for all you girls (and boys) who love shopping. What this lady does not know about shopping you could write down on the back of a postage stamp and still have room to fit in the first 3 chapters of war and peace. No wonder she loves her job so much. Who else do you know who gets paid to shop?

James - Marketing

Our very own James Bond shown in an old photograph from a Christmas party a very VERY long time ago. Despite the age of this photo he still scrubs up pretty good but we figured that this photo is less likely to scare your children. In truth of course we did not employ him for his wit, charm and good looks. (good job too) what James does is prepare the online and offline marketing and promotional information for us all. 

Steve - Web & Database Designer

The other Steve is our head designer. Steve D comes up with the ideas and feeds them through a mainframe interface modulator via the interpolination flux capacitor. Over time those biometrically opposing particles create non biodegradable elements that appear in Steve G's frontal cortex. Shortly after turning his power on strange noises are heard (a bit like the Borg) and before long what Steve D thought, Steve G has built.

Montgomery Scott - Web Design

Just like the crew of the Starship Enterprise, we have our very own Mr Scott. His real first name is not Montgomery (it's Tim) but it seems a shame to miss an opportunity to include a reference to Star Trek. Our Mr Scott created the Ei42.com theme and the user guides. Tim is not actually Scottish and this is not a real picture of him either (he's shy) and we don't think it's very likely the bloke in the picture is Scottish either.
